How to redeem an Activation Code

Without an iLok account

  1. Follow the link in your order confirmation email to begin downloading the installer
  2. Copy the activation code on the download page to your clipboard
  3. Run the installer and then open your DAW
  4. When the black activation window pops up, click Activate
  5. Paste your activation code
  6. Enter your email address and click Activate
​​With an iLok account (in the activation window)
  1. Follow the link in your order confirmation email to begin downloading the installer
  2. Copy the activation code on the download page to your clipboard
  3. Run the installer and then open your DAW
  4. When the black activation window pops up, click Activate
  5. Paste your activation code
  6. Check the “Register with my existing iLok.com account” box and click Continue
  7. Enter your iLok user ID and password and click Next
  8. Select an Activation Location and click Next

With the iLok License Manager

  1. Go your product download page and copy your Activation Code to your clipboard
  2. Open the iLok License Manager application on your computer and log-in to your iLok account. Don’t have the iLok License Manager? Click here to download it.
  3. From the Licenses menu click “Redeem and Activation Code”
  4. Paste your Activation Code and click “Next”
  5. Select an Activation Location and click Redeem
     
NOTES:
  • If you want to activate your license on a second device you must have your license registered to an iLok account. If you activated your license without an iLok account, click here for instructions on how to register it to your account. If you don't have an iLok account and would like to create one, click here.
  • If you registered your license to an iLok account, you will not need to use the activation code anymore. You will be able to use the iLok License Manager to manage your licenses and activations.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
  • If you get an error with your activation code saying "The code redemption limit has been reached" please submit a support ticket providing your activation code and we will help resolve the problem.
